  • NAMI Blue Ridge helps to promote recovery and improve the quality of life of Virginians with serious mental illness through support, education, and advocacy.

  • Narcotics Anonymous

  • On Our Own of Charlottesville provides free peer support, self-help, education, guidance, advocacy, and referral services for adults who have acknowledged that they have experienced significant problems in their lives due to challenges with mental health, substance use, or trauma.

  • Partner for Mental Health helps people experiencing mental illness or the disease of addiction in the greater Charlottesville area live self-directed lives in their home communities.

  • Region Ten provides a variety of outpatient, intensive outpatient, day support and residential programs with 24/7 crisis support.

  • Birth Sisters of Charlottesville is a women of color community-based doula collective supporting women of color through their birth journeys and into motherhood.
